“My first word was ‘dog’. It was followed by ‘mama’, ‘papa’, and ‘Lete’ (the name of my babysitter). The right order is still disputed. But ever since, so people say, I haven’t stopped telling stories.”
Cíntia’s career started in journalism, where she worked as a freelancer for BBC, The Daily Beast, NBC, Monocle, France24, Radio France International, among others.
Her latest short film, Clinch, was considered the first post-#MeToo film of The Netherlands by the country’s leading cinema magazine De Filmkrant.
Cíntia has also directed two theatre plays (Wet & The God of Carnage) and wrote the short play The Ingenious Mind, which premiered at the prestigious International Theatre Amsterdam in 2018.
Besides her artistic work, Cíntia is a storytelling and brand narratives expert, working for several companies where she develops content strategies, scripts, and corporate films, among others. Some of her clients include Philips, Bostin Consulting Group, and National Geographic.
With /O2, Cíntia hopes to continue telling more (inter)national stories and help brands connect with their audiences through high quality emotional narratives.
